Discover the Calanques aboard Bruine Beer
During your tour of the Calanques, the captain drops anchor in coves accessible only by sea or hard to reach on foot. The water there is clear, so transparent that you can see the rocky seabed and schools of fish from just a few meters down, overlooked by limestone cliffs plunging into the sea.
We make stops at several sites in the Calanques such as Sormiou, Sugiton, Morgiou, En-Vau and the Riou archipelago. Knowing the area well, it's not unusual for us to take you to more secluded coves depending on the weather and how busy it is at the time.
You'll enjoy the best swimming spots in the Calanques, in complete peace and quiet.
Complimentary masks and and snorkels are available on board for the best snorkeling in Marseille. Just a few meters down, you can observe fish, rocks and posidonia seagrass meadows.
Prefer to simply swim? It's just as enjoyable. The turquoise water, the tranquility of the surroundings, the scenery, all from a sailboat, create a moment out of time. After your swim, you climb back on board to continue sailing along the cliffs and discover other coves.
Enjoy the aperitif and lunch in the Calanques
The Casa Consolat, an ethical, high-quality caterer based in Marseille, prepares a meal on the boat, vegetarian and homemade with organic produce.
This organic lunch is crafted from fresh produce, seasonal vegetables and fruit carefully selected for their freshness and quality. The recipes evolve with the seasonal produce available.
As part of an eco-responsible approach, each meal is delivered by bicycle in reusable containers.
